INFANT CARE

The Infant Program is geared towards your baby from six weeks to 18 months of age, and is developed with the special needs of that age group in mind. Apart from a loving and nurturing staff, our Infant Program provides learning experiences to enhance your child’s social, emotional, physical, cognitive and developmental growth.

 

TODDLER PROGRAM

The Toddler Program is geared towards your toddler from 18 months through 3 years of age. We, at The Learning Ladder Child Care Center, believe in a hands-on approach to learning, through experimentation and exploration. The toddler environment provides a theme based space, learning centers, and a variety of learning materials. Children are taught to be independent and self reliant.

 

PRESCHOOL PROGRAM

The Preschool Program is geared towards your child from 3-5 years of age and is intended to smoothly transition your child into Kindergarten, encourage self dependence, boost self esteem and develop talents.  Our program provides learning experiences to enhance your child’s social, emotional, academic, cognitive and developmental growth. The Center’s primary objective is to link together your child, your family, and our staff in a balanced approach to learning. The Learning Ladder’s Preschool Program provides a variety of learning experiences to foster the love of learning through fun, exploration, experimentation and hands-on activities.

 

BEFORE/AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM

Our Before and After School program is designed for children Kindergarten through 6th grade, who attend Emma Havens, Drum Point, PLC, Silverbay, North Dover, and Hooper Avenue Elementary Schools. The teachers help the children finish their homework, and then they work on different projects ranging from arts and crafts, origami, music, reading, etc. The classroom has a full computer lab, play-station and other video games, games, and library. There is also a huge playground for outdoor activity.

 

SUMMER CAMP

Our Summer Camp features creative on-site activities and numerous, fun-filled field trips at an affordable rate. While at the center, your child will enjoy arts and crafts, water slides, air hockey, foosball, video games, and other fun activities. Academic work books reinforce concepts learned in the school year, while at the same time keeping the focus on fun and entertainment. Every week your child will go on a field trip. These destinations include a trip to the local pool, bowling alleys, ice-skating, roller skating, miniature golf, aquarium, Cattus Island, movies, and many more. Experienced and friendly camp counselors supervise all activities and trips.
